Joanne Arnott is a Canadian citizen, born 16 Dec 1960 in Winnipeg.
She is mother to six young people, all born at home with dads and midwives: Stuart, Max, Lila, Isidore, Faust, Jules.
Recent genealogical research does not confirm our assumed Métis affiliation, so she should be received as a settler artist.
